The 15 Hottest Female Marvel Villains
The heroes are always definitely good looking, right? That seems to be a pretty common theme in storytelling, throughout several different mediums. The hero and/or the protagonist are more than likely going to be pretty pleasing to the eye. Just look at Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The studio could have stayed true to the source material, and found short, gruff looking actor to play the role. But instead, they went with a tall, handsome actor with movie star looks to play the role. And he has been doing it for close to two decades.
Sometimes, the bad guys and the villains are just way cooler than the good guys and superheroes. Even some of the bad guys are pretty good looking. And while the men certainly get a huge amount of attention, we can’t forget the villainous ladies. Particularly, how totally hot a lot of these female characters actually are. I mean, what could possibly sound better than an evil redhead who knows how to kick your butt 10 different ways? Not very much, is the answer.
Today, we’re going to be talking about those women, and a whole lot more you probably haven’t even heard of. Specifically, we’re going to take a look at some of the female baddies in the Marvel universe. Everybody from Silver Sable and Medusa, to the X-Men’s Emma Frost. Some of these ladies have spent their entire careers being villains. Others have spent time on the side of good before they completely went bad. No matter the backstory, one thing is made clear: These are all incredibly hot women in comics.
- Silver Sable
Silver Sable first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #265 in the mid-’80s. The character was created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. She doesn’t have any superpowers but is a very formidable foe when it comes to hand-to-hand combat and martial arts, along with her incredible marksmanship. Sable had a pretty tough upbringing, considering the fact that her mother was murdered right in front of her by enemies of her father, Ernst Sablinova. Witnessing the death of her mother made her hair turn white.
But even with the white hair that would usually make someone look out, Silver Sable is still drawn to be a hottie. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if Spider-Man himself even felt a bit attracted to her every now and again. Whether the two were working against one another, or together as allies.
Viper (real name Ophelia Sarkissian, formally known as Madame Hydra) first made her debut in Captain America #110 in the late ’60s. As a young girl, she was taken in and raised by Hydra, which is always going to be a problem in the Marvel universe. She rose through the ranks and eventually became Madame Hydra and got into a lot of battles with Captain America.
Viper does not have any super powers. Like a lot of villains, and heroes, she is just incredibly skilled. Her reflexes, agility, strength, speed and endurance are all at the level of an Olympic athlete. She is a fantastic marksman as well as a swordsman. Her connection to organized crime and various criminal organizations is also a big plus in her favor.
Moonstone, aka Dr. Karla Sofen, was first shown in in Captain America (vol. 1) #192. For such a gorgeous lady, she certainly had an ideal childhood, temporarily. She grew up living in a Hollywood mansion until her father died. Her mom then started working three jobs just to be able to put her daughter through college. Early on in her villainous career, she was a member of the organization known as the Corporation. Which is about as basic of a name as you can get.
After that, she joined up with the Masters of Evil and fought against the Avengers. Moonstone gets her powers from a Kree gravity stone. It is bonded to her nervous system and this allows her to fly, phase through solid objects, and project energy beams.
- Typhoid Mary
Matt Murdock/Daredevil is a character who certainly gets around in the Marvel universe. He has slept with and been in relationships with a number of female characters. One of them being the dangerous and sexy Typhoid Mary. Created by Ann Nocenti and John Romita, Jr., the character first appeared in Daredevil #254. She is mentally ill and how she got her condition is actually pretty interesting. It was Daredevil who had accidentally knocked her out of a window. She then vowed that no man would ever hurt her again.
Typhoid Mary is a mutant who employs a number of limited psionic powers. She can use telekinesis and she is is a powerful pyrokinetic. Such a hot ability for a hot woman.
We’ve all had the glory of seeing Mystique played by two very beautiful actresses in the X-Men live action movies. The actresses being Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn. Part of what makes her so sexy, at least in the movies, is that she is rarely ever wearing clothes, so her hotness is made quite obvious. Even though her blue skin may make her look like a character from Avatar, Mystique is still incredibly sexy.
The character first appeared in Ms. Marvel #16 in 1978 and was created by David Cockrum and Chris Claremont. She is a mutant shapeshifter, with the ability to transform her appearance and take on the identity of other humans and animals. This allows her to stay young since she can rejuvenate her body cells. The character has had a number of team affiliations over the years, including the Brotherhood of Mutants.
