Legend of Zelda: New Nintendo Switch screenshots reveal Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule
NEW LEGEND of Zelda Nintendo Switch screenshots have been revealed, showing off Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule locations.
Having been delayed for years, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally going to arrive on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch games’ lists this March.
Fans have had to wait much longer than expected to explore the latest version of the Hyrule adventure title, and there are still new things being revealed even this close to launch.
Game Informer have shared new screenshots of the game ahead of it’s March 3 release date, showing off new locations and enemies.
Fans will see the return of Beedle the Bard, fight mechanised foes and also get the chance to strap on their snowboots for some winter-style adventures.
There are also some new game mechanics that fans will have to take into account when exploring Hyrule, including watching out for adverse weather.
Link can now be struck by lightning, meaning players will need to unequip their metallic weapons to avoid becoming a big lightning rod.
Other new features include randomised enemies, which as you can see by the new screenshots, can come in all different shapes and terrifying sizes.

Nintendo have also narrowed down the timeline in which the game takes place.
In a quick-fire Q&A with Game Informer, producer Eiji Aonuma said that Breath of the Wild takes place AFTER Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
With the Zelda series branching off on multiple paths after Ocarina of Time, there’s still plenty of room for maneuvere, but it does at least narrow it down.
It was also recently confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has gone gold.
